The Best Kiss category is often one of the most exciting awards of the night since in almost all cases, the winners often recreate the kiss during their acceptance speeches.Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams had one of the most memorable recreations having running across the stage toward each other when Rachel jumps into Ryan’s arms and the two just go out it, tongue and all. But then there’s the reigning champions, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson who will undoubtedly be up for their third consecutive Best Kiss award through the first three installments of “The Twilight Saga.” But we can’t forget how “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” also features Kristen Stewart locking lips with Taylor Lautner who will almost be guaranteed a nomination. But then we’ve got the infamous same-sex matchups which have won the category five times since it’s introduction at 1992’s Movie Awards. This year, we will most likely see Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman’s steamy kiss from “Black Swan” and also Jim Carrey with Ewan McGregor from the sleeper “I Love You Philip Morris” or the hilarious smooch from “Get Him to the Greek” between Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. But don’t be surprised to see Penn Badgley and Emma Stone’s smooch from “Easy A,”Minka Kelly and Cam Gigandet’s kiss from “The Roommate,” Anne Hathaway andJake Gyllenhaal’s make-out sessions from “Love and Other Drugs” or even Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson’s innocent peck from ”Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” to also make appearances on the list of nominees. But if the winner does end up being Kristen and Robert for the third consecutive year, at least we can expect to see some kind of awkward kiss reminiscent of the movie leaving us completely guessing one whether the two are in fact a couple.
