It has been announced that some of the judges for this year’s regional competition on FOX’s smash musical-comedy Glee will be some fairly famous people. Following last year’s Olivia Newton-John and Josh Groban cameo performances, this year’s competition will have My Life on The D-List star (that’s right, I said star!) Kathy Griffin as well as Loretta Devine, one of Grey’s Anatomy’s many recurring actor. It has been reported that the pair will not be playing themselves as Newton John and Groban had before, instead parts have been written for each of them. Devine is allegedly to play a former stripper who is now a nun, while Griffin is reported to be playing a character inspired by former Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin. I love Loretta Devine in Grey’s Anatomy and she was such a wonderful actress in the now-cancelled ABC drama Eli Stone so there is no doubt I will love her on Glee. But Kathy Griffin playing a Palin-esque character will steal the show. It will probably be one of the funniest moments of the entire series.
