
Lauren Conrad may have left MTV’s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County in 2005 for her own MTV reality TV show called The Hills. But even though the concept of the show was driven towards her following her dreams in Los Angeles, drama between former cast members Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt got the best of her and forced her to leave her own show to where the network replaced her with her high school nemesis Kristin Cavalleri for the final two seasons of the show. Don’t worry about Lauren though, she’s moved on. The 24-year-old now a New York Times best-selling author and has her own clothing line being sold at Kohl’s department stores. But that doesn’t mean she’s given up on reality TV. While no official announcement has been made by MTV about the new reality show, Lauren told People this:
“I’ve always been open to doing reality again. It’s just under certain circumstances. As long as you have a separation then it works. You have your personal life and work life and when it’s combined it’s difficult.”
So here’s what to look forward to from Lauren Conrad. Lauren’s third and final novel in the LA Candy trilogy will be released October 5, 2010 while an official announcement regarding the new reality show chronicling her professional life is expected next week.
