
If you haven’t heard the name Whitney Port by now, you will soon. She first became famous as fellow intern to Lauren Conrad’s at Teen Vogue on MTV’s hit reality TV show The Hills. The show ran its course and eventually Whitney & Lauren were done with Teen Vogue and moved on to fashion PR firm People’s Revolution in Los Angeles. Working under Kelly Cutrone, Whitney decided to leave The Hills and pursue her fashion career more in depth and moved to People’s Revolution in New York City. MTV followed Port to New York and developed Port her own series called The City. Since becoming a reality star, Port worked under fashion giant Diane von Furstenberg before branching out and coming out with her own line: Whitney Eve. The line which has been a part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York for two consecutive years, is now under the roof at GAP. Whitney Port announced that she will be offering exclusive pieces of her collection to GAP’s online-only retail-warehouse brand Piperlime. The line consists of tops, jackets, dresses and sweaters and ranges from $128 to $328. The 12 pieces are available now.
