best jaw-dropping moment nominee favorites.

What used to be called “Best WTF Moment,” Best Jaw-Dropping Moment is virtually that moment in a movie that you will never forget. This is why Ken Jeong’s naked trunk surprise from “The Hangover” was a clear winner in the category last year. This year is a little more open. I can almost guarantee you that having James Franco cut of his own arm in “127 Hours” will make the list just as having the cafe explode in “Inception” with Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page will probably get a nomination. But that’s about as far as I can even begin to guess who will get nominations for this category. The hangnail Natalie Portman pulls into an all out need for stitches from “Black Swan” could make an appearance. But other than that, I can’t even really begin to guess. I’d imagine scenes from “Grown Ups,” “Get Him To The Greek,” and “Little Fockers” might take the rest of them, but I have no favorites.

biggest badass star nominee favorites

One of the newest categories of the MTV Movie Awards, this marks only its second year being awarded. Last year it went to Rain for “Ninja Assassin” with Channing Tatum, Angelina Jolie, Chris Pine, and Sam Worthington rounding out the other nominees. With both Angelina Jolie and Sam Worthington as possible nominees again this year for “Salt” and “Clash of the Titans” respectively it’s all too possible either of them could take the award this year. “Iron Man 2” gave us Robert Downey, Jr. again and introduced us to Scarlett Johannson as Black Widow. “Inception” reintroduced us to Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy. But this is one of those categories that could really just go any where. Don’t be surprised to see Jackie Chan or Mark Wahlberg nominated. “I Am Number Four’sAlex Pettyfer, Jeff Bridges from “True Grit” and “TRON: Legacy” or Jeremy Renner from “The Town” are all worthy of nominations as well.

best villain nominee favorites.

I LOVE BEST VILLAIN! It’s mainly because I love seeing actors get so into their characters that we forget they are actual human beings with emotions other than hate and the desire to kill. We all remember how intense the late Heath Ledger made the Joker in Christopher Nolan’s 2009 Batman thriller “The Dark Knight” for which he received the 2009 Best Villain award rightfully so but was painfully not able to accept the award having died of a drug overdose in 2008. Tom Felton won last year for “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” as Draco Malfoy and considering he played Malfoy once again this year in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1,” the possibility of back-to-back Tom Felton wins is very possible, especially now that Draco has become a deatheater in the series. But I wouldn’t call it a shoe-in, because this year he’s got a lot of competition even from his co-stars, Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter for their roles as Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange respectively. Being one of the only categories that “The Twilight Saga” hasn’t received even a nomination, 2011 could be a first for the stars having both Xavier Samuel and Bryce Dallas Howard as viable nominee options for their portrayals of Riley Biers and Victoria respectively. Christopher Waltz could have back-to-back nominations for last year’s “Inglorious Basterds” and this year’s “The Green Hornet.” But I could also see Jeff Bridges nominated for “TRON: Legacy,” Leighton Meester for “The Roommate,” Mickey Rourke for “Iron Man 2,” or Ryan Philippe for “The Lincoln Lawyer.”

best fight nominee favorites.

The Best Fight category is one of my personal favorites because it’s always so open-ended and could really go to any of the nominees. MTV picked some good potential nominees to highlight but I’d have to say that one of my favorites would have to be Jon Hamm vs. Jeremy Renner & Ben Affleck in “The Town.” If you agree with me, you’re gonna have to use a write-in vote at the bottom of the page. But like I said, almost any of the nominees already listed on the page would be great winners. I’d also like to seeJoseph Gordon-Levitt vs. subconscious from “Inception” and Angelina Jolie vs. Liev Shreiber for “Salt” make the list. But I wouldn’t count out any of the entries from “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” “TRON: Legacy,” or “Iron Man 2.” We all know that “Eclipse” was the most action-packed movie of the saga thus far, but that didn’t stop Robert Pattinson and Cam Gigandet from taking the award in 2009 for “Twilight.” This time we’ve got quite an epic battle with Robert Pattinson vs. Bryce Dallas Howard & Xavier Samuel from “Eclipse.” Superhero movies like “Iron Man 2” provide a lot of opportunities for Best Fight nominations and I would consider Scarlett Johannson vs. the guards and Robert Downey, Jr. vs. Mickey Rourke to be contenders. “TRON: Legacy” has Jeff Bridges pinned against himself and Garrett Hedlund vs. Anis Cheurfa - both of which are epic scenes. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see Daniel Radcliffe & Rupert Grint vs. Helena Bonham Carter from “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” also make the final cut.

best kiss nominee favorites

The Best Kiss category is often one of the most exciting awards of the night since in almost all cases, the winners often recreate the kiss during their acceptance speeches.Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams had one of the most memorable recreations having running across the stage toward each other when Rachel jumps into Ryan’s arms and the two just go out it, tongue and all. But then there’s the reigning champions, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson who will undoubtedly be up for their third consecutive Best Kiss award through the first three installments of “The Twilight Saga.” But we can’t forget how “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” also features Kristen Stewart locking lips with Taylor Lautner who will almost be guaranteed a nomination. But then we’ve got the infamous same-sex matchups which have won the category five times since it’s introduction at 1992’s Movie Awards. This year, we will most likely see Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman’s steamy kiss from “Black Swan” and also Jim Carrey with Ewan McGregor from the sleeper “I Love You Philip Morris” or the hilarious smooch from “Get Him to the Greek” between Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. But don’t be surprised to see Penn Badgley and Emma Stone’s smooch from “Easy A,”Minka Kelly and Cam Gigandet’s kiss from “The Roommate,” Anne Hathaway andJake Gyllenhaal’s make-out sessions from “Love and Other Drugs” or even Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson’s innocent peck from  ”Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” to also make appearances on the list of nominees. But if the winner does end up being Kristen and Robert for the third consecutive year, at least we can expect to see some kind of awkward kiss reminiscent of the movie leaving us completely guessing one whether the two are in fact a couple.

the real world is here to stay.

It is now official: MTV’s The Real World has become the longest running television show of all time. Currently in it’s 25th season, the 26th season is being cast as you read this post. And MTV has picked up the reality show for another two seasons. Having crossed not only the country but the globe as well, the show has over 436 episodes and has featured 187 castmates to date. The current season, marks the second time the show has hit up Las Vegas which is only the third city to have featured The Real World twice after New York and New Orleans, although if you were to include Brooklyn in the New York spectrum, New York would have three seasons. Featuring roommates from across the country, the most notable of the current season is Dustin Zito of Louisiana (third from the left) who has had some amount of fame before his addition to the current Real World cast as he was once a featured model on a live-webcam website called FratPad where college-aged guys would live in the house together and have their lives filmed in precarious situations and games usually done completely nude. One of the more dramatic scenes of this season is where Dustin must explain his questionable past to his romantic interest in the house, fellow roommate Heather Marter.

We knew that Glee star Chord Overstreet was quite the heartthrob and that he had modeled before but this new picture sort of puts things on a whole new level. We’ve even seen him shirtless before, not only in other pictures but even on Glee where he has been seen both showering and changing in the McKinley High School locker room. But there’s something about this specific picture that could even propel him to sex symbol status. Decide for yourself, but we’ve got to pull ourselves together for this one.

it’s the thought that counts.

Cutting one’s hair for charity is, in my opinion, one of the most inspiring things a person can do. Sacrificing one’s own vanity so that others can enjoy some of the over-looked advantaged of having a full head of hair, is moving. But when one of the world’s biggest supermodels cuts their hair for the same cause, it can move mountains. That’s exactly what Brooklyn Decker did Wednesday, March 23rd in her Fort Lauderdale, Florida hotel. The 23-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition 2010 cover model - who is married to 28-year-old tennis pro Andy Roddick -  tweeted three photos of her new hairdo earlier in the day. When a fan tweeted in response asking if she donated the 10 inches of hair cut to the non-profit charity Locks of Love, she responded that she wished she could have but it was colored so she was not able to. But we all know that it’s the thought that counts! Go Brooklyn!

lindsay rejects plea deal.

It’s really starting to seem like the Lohan family will do anything as long as it means they’re still in the spotlight. Less than 24-hours after her father, Michael Lohan, gets arrested for domestic violence near his apartment in West Hollywood on Tuesday night, Lindsay Lohan faced a judge in Los Angeles regarding her felony grand theft case after she was accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, California jewelry store. Lindsay completely denies the charges having said that she was under the impression that the necklace was being loaned to her - something that is incredibly common for jewelers to do with celebrities. The case gets even more interesting when other shoppers including other celebrities reported having looked at the same necklace which was then valued at only $800. Lindsay rejected the plea deal offered to her at the preliminary hearing held Wednesday, March 23rd. She will now go on to face another judge and a jury who will examine the evidence of the case and decide her fate. Because she is still on probation after a 2007 DUI case, a guilty verdict could put Lohan behind bars for up to three years. So as though it weren’t already obvious, it really seems like the Lohans are even willing to serve hard time behind bars as long as their names are still brought up in media attention.
